Dr Dvir Abramovich is regarded as one of the country’s leading academics in Jewish studies and one of the world’s foremost experts on Hebrew and Israeli literature. He has been interviewed on radio and TV, and has contributed numerous opinion pieces to local and international publications. Abramovich is the director of the Jewish Culture and Society Program at The University of Melbourne, as well as The Israel Kipen Senior Lecturer in Hebrew and Jewish Studies. He also serves as Chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission. Abramovich is the author and editor of three books and currently lives in Melbourne.
